Coders Connect 💙 are partnering with a fast-growing digital imaging and technology company 🔬 serving biotech and pharmaceutical clients, providing imaging expertise, technology and operational support to clients developing novel therapeutics using medical imaging-based markers in a multi-centre trials, who’s foundation is in software development, AI and computer science applied to medical image analysis.

We are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager that will be

  • Responsible for developing highly scalable user-facing platform(s) and managing our large outsourced and in-house team
  • Responsible for managing GCP server configurations
  • Working with & optimising analysis for large medical imaging data sets
  • Working with our operations team and supporting multiple client projects that involve medical image collection and analysis
  • Working directly with the CTO to implement effective workflows, processes and planning strategies
  • Contributing to internal product roadmaps and liaising with the product team in relation to these
  • Taking responsibility for developing the software in an ISO13485 environment

💼 What you’ll Need

You’ll need to be comfortable working in a team and have a genuine passion for software development. Here are the specific requirements:

  • Excellent working knowledge and commercial experience of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Significant software development experience
  • Experience of managing within a software development team, internal and outsourced teams.
  • Evidence of having played a leading or senior role in commercially deployed software (Agile, Sprint), or the drive & willingness to do so
  • Hands-on experience: Technical Architecture, building and supporting a large community of users, user experience management, large scale systems.
  • Managing development in ISO13485 environment and maintaining technical file
  • A can-do attitude and entrepreneurial drive
  • Comprehensive understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks, ideally Angular
  • A solid understanding of software design  particularly Microservice architecture, and able to actively participate in technical discussions at a high level

  • A relevant or analytical degree (Computer Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics etc) and understanding of medical imaging
  • Experience in clinical trials through previous work in CRO, biotech or pharma
  • Experience of working with application performance monitoring or infrastructure monitoring tools
  • Deep interest in medical imaging, image analysis, drug development
  • Medical Imaging Software, DICOM, Libraries (LEADTOOLS, AMI)
